I have been so busy since spring could barely catch my breath! I was accepted into a fine art gourd show at the Kerrville Arts and Cultural Center in Kerrville, TX where I won a second place ribbon for my Weather Vane Whale and honorable mention for my Nautical Ocean Drum. These are my final gourds of 2010 Four views of an apple gourd with woodburned doodles which they now call zentangles. It has a removable lid.  This one is also done with pyrography.  Four views of my red dragons and castle. This one was done with watercolor pencils, regular colored pencils and permanant markers This one also was done with colored pencils and markers and the lid is removable.

We're going to be at the arts & craft sale at the Science Spectrum Nov 20 and these Santa will be part of my new stuff. I hope to have a couple more Santas or Reindeer, but not sure I'll have time. I've made two more of these, but no pics yet. One large and one small.

I saw these two little gourds and thought since they were so much alike they'd be great as mother & baby. Her headdress is beetle wings and the baby had turquoise pieces headdress.

Well, I finally got back to my blog and saw it had been over a year since I posted anything, so decided to delete all the old stuff and start fresh. I plan to use this more as my business site than before so I can post prices here instead of on facebook, or if I put something on Etsy or Artfire, I will post here.
